Technical Assessment Form

The "Technical Assessment Form" is a form designed by our beamline in order to find out what your experimental requirements are, so that your local contact can prepare your beamtime optimally.

Please make sure that you read all the details carefully and then fill the form thoroughly.

After filling, please send it back to your local contact via e-mail. Please remember, this is not a replacement for your sample declaration or safety concept for the beamline or chemistry laboratory on DOOR.

The "Technical Assessment Form" has to be sent back 6 weeks prior to your beamtime to your local contact!

Please note:

If you do not send the form back before the 6-week limit, an optimal support from the beamline staff cannot be guarantueed.

Hint:

If you are planning to use the chemistry laboratory available at P02.1 or other support laboratories at PETRA III, please read the rules below and have a look on our page for booking instructions.

If you want to use own Lasers or LED devices (see also: Information for Users with Laser or LED devices)or if you intend to bring dangerous sustances like really toxic or radioactive substances (see also: Information for Users with radioactive samples), then you should send the "Technical Assessment Form" as soon as possible.
