Computing : 2019 August 07: ATLAS storage maintenance

On 2019 August 07 from 8:00 to ~18:00 the ATLAS dCache long term storage will be updated.

This means for ATLAS users of the NAF during the downtime:

  • files under the path /pnfs/desy.de/atlas will not be available, i.e., LOCALGROUPDISK, DATADISK and SCRATCHDISK
  • to prevent interference from jobs trying to access data:
    • no new ATLAS job will start on the NAF
    • running jobs will be send to hold/killed before starting the maintenance

After the downtime has finished, we will send you an update.
