In order to use the new download method via SFTP, you can migrate your existing client configuration. See below for configuration examples.
The registration of beamtimes for download in the Gamma Portal is no longer required.
Migration with FileZilla
- Open the Site Manager in the upper left corner
- Click on your existing site definition for psftp.desy.de, it should look like this:
- Click on the protocol field and select SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protocol
- After you have selected SFTP as the protocol, set Port 22
- Click on OK. You will now use SFTP to connect to psftp.desy.de for beamtime downloads.
If you have used the Quickconnect feature, you need to explicitly set Port 22. Without the port, FileZilla uses the deprecated FTP method.
