Fiji is an image processing package—a "batteries-included" distribution of ImageJ, bundling a lot of plugins which facilitate scientific image analysis.

Using  fiji on maxwell

There is no need for any special setup, just issue 'fiji'. A recent kernel security fix (stack guard gap) causes problems with some java applications like fiji. The kernels effected are: 3.10.0-514.21.2.el7.If fiji crashes right at the beginning, please try the following workaround:
