General Info

The DUT is the assembled S59. AHcal trigger fingers used (how-to set link).

3GeV chose at T24.

DVDD == 2.5V, Linear regulator bypassed;

AVDD Linear regulator V_in == 3.03V

Lessons learnt from 2018/08

Timing studies

  • The trigger difference is always 1 to 2 BunchClockCounts (BCC) with our 320 ns acq. clock period of 320 ns, the question is, is this offset related to the internal clock of KPiX, i.e. would it still be 2 BCC when taking 70ns acq. clock period data?
  • If the external trigger time stamp is really arriving before the internal time stamp, test run: using electronics to delay 1 bunchClk of the external trigger for auto trigger + TimeStamp run.


High Gain

  • Auto trigger run: to investigate more to see how run like "tb_sync_Ecal_30_S59-1_320ns_HGT_thresh_200_Triginhib_1000_BClkCount_1390.xml" looks like with more statistics.

Normal Gain

  • External trigger run: extend from BClkCount=4000 to 8191 with large statistics
