!!! THE MOTORS FOR FLIGHT TUBE ROTATION HAVE NO HARDWARE ENDSTOPS YET!!! !!! PLEASE BE CAREFUL !!! !!! Check if the brakes are ON !!!
The height/inclination of the flight tube can be adjusted using the flight_tube1 (expmi_mot33) flight_tube2 (expmi_mot34) motors.
Check the space available BEFORE you start moving/tilting the flight tube. Keep in mind that when you increase ONLY the height at the end of the flight tube the front part will move downwards.
The flight tube length can be modified by using the flight_tubeL1 and flight_tubeL2 motors (Range available 1.2 to 5 m).
See Table 1 for the motor values. Please wear the ear protection! Check the space available before you start modifying the length of the flight tube. If you want to strech/extend the flight tube, do not forget to first move the detector away from the flight tube. The flight tube length can be modified ONLY if the flight tube is evacuated. !!! DO NOT CHANGE THE LENGTH OF THE FLIGHT TUBE IF IT IS NOT EVACUATED !!!

After electrical shut down of the motors, it is neccessary to tourn off the brakes for the motors adjusting the Flight tube length (Figure 2).
Red light on and blinking: the brakes are on, i.e., it is not possible to change the flight tube length
Red light off: brakes are off.
For switching of the brakes and moving the flight tube the stop-current has to be on 2 Ampere and the run-Current on 4 Ampere! Can be checked in Jive.
- Close hand valve.
- Turn the blue knob back.
- Close venting
- Close an additional handle valve between pump and flight tube.
- Press start.
- Open very slow and carefully the additional handle valve between pump and flight tube.
