P02.1 - Public : Download of your data from DESY Gamma Portal

You can download your measured and on-site processed data from the DESY Gamma Portal: https://gamma-portal.desy.de/

If you want to download not single data sets but multiple ones or the entire beamtime, then a download via FTP is recommended. In the following we recommend the FTP download via the WinSCP client software, as this software allows to adjust all properties which you need to connect to the DESY FTP server (please note, that most likely you cannot access the FTP server with your internet browser).

  1. Login to the DESY Gamma portal: https://gamma-portal.desy.de/ with your DOOR credentials
  2. Go to "FTP registration". There select the desired beamtime and click on "FTP register"
  3. Use on your computer a client like "WinSCP"
  4. Configure "WinSCP" with the following details
    1. Choose protocol FTP
    2. The server is "psftp.desy.de"
    3. Port number is 21
    4. Use as encryption "TLS/SSL Explicit encryption"
    5. Enter your DOOR account name and password
