How to use EL8 in Bird
we do currently not provide any EL8 worker (and will not do so in the foreseeable future) the default OS for jobs submitted from the EL8 APs from above is set to run on CentOS7.
If you want to run your jobs in an EL8 container you can do so by using singularity (now called apptainer), follow this instruction to do so:
