Some Users have a problem with a critical failure at Startup. This is driven by a bad connection to the License server.


To correct the connection to the license server you have to do the following steps.

  1. Go into Preferences ( in the upper right corner )->System->General->Advanced...
  2. Search for the entry Nexus.OfflineMode
  3. In the Column Value click a hook into the field.
  4. Click OK and restart Altium Nexus
  5. After Restart, click on your name in the upper right corner and sign out
  6. Than go into License Managment (located under the same field)
  7. In the middle of the license managment click on "Reconnect to private license Server"
  8. Mark the License you want to use with a click (Altium Designer or Viewer)
  9. Click on use
  10. After all switch off the offline mode that you enabled earlier
